Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share my Viking that I just finished. The red lightning bolts on the tail didn’t stay very well and I learned they didn’t react well to micro-sol and micro-set, but otherwise I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Best to use set first and place it where decal will go(under decal). Then apply decal, and use sol only if you ned it.

That italeri kit impressed me when I built it in the 80s (the S-3 better than the US-3 COD kit). Now there are a bunch of aftermarket items I really wanted at the time, like the folds, and the cockpit details that big greenhouse deserves.

That Viking looks fantastic especially in those markings. Is that the old AMT/ERTL kit?
Some very good weathering and decal work on this one @Nightwing85 . That’s odd about the decal not reacting well with the Microsol. Were the decals in the kit?
