Hi - I’m new here and it’s tough to get caught up on everything in these forums. Tons of great info! Sorry if I’m rehashing the past:

Just ordered a 1/35 Italeri UH-60L and am really excited about it. However, NO WHERE have I found a review or build of the kit itself… It seems like the Academy kit is the only 1/35 scale out there (but producing beautiful machines). Why have I not seen anything on the Italeri? Was it discontinued because it was an awful kit or something?

It’s the same model,just a different manufacturer.The decals on the sheet are smaller than the MRC 's for some reason.I think the MRC’s are more accurate in size than the Italeri’s decal sheet.-Hawkwrench-

Actually, they are both made by Academy, just reboxed by Italeri for sles unger their label. You are correct on the decals though, I’n not sure why the Italeri ones are slightly smaller. The Academy decals are correct size.

Great kit!

I am guessing that you are a -60 guy so you know what a good job they really did. If not, there are some really knowledeable -60 guys here that can give you any info that you need.
