A local Hobbytown has the 1/24th scale Italeri Scania truck and trailor kit with the “Cool Fruits” markings on the trailor on sale. How do these kits build up? Are they fairly easy to build. And hows the detail? I appreciate any answers.[:-^]
Welcome to the forum. Have not built one of the trucks myself but I would imagine being from Italeri that they would be pretty decent. Better than the AMT big stuff I am sure.
I have built many of the Italeri truck kits. They have excellent detail and are fairly easy to build. The tricky part is the cab because they are all multi-piece but this results in amore realistic look. Go ahead buy the kit if you’re into euro rigs.
gidday, i too have bult many, many trucks, and have to say that my experience is that the european trucks tend to go together alot better than the american models, don’t know why this is, it just is, good luck with the build if you by the kit. let us know how it works for you!!!
