I just purchased the iwata hp-bcs (siphone feed). I paid $73 after tax. I was thinking of holding out for a gravity feed (hp-cs) but I am so impatient. My last brush was a paasch vl (siphon feed). I have had good luck with that brush but it is hard to get find lines. Anyway, I am guessing the iwata although better quality won’t be munch different. I could still return this brush and order the cs. I pretty much only airbrush military models.
It’s a pretty good deal, but siphon fed ABs won’t spray as fine of a line as a gravity fed due to the simple fact that the siphon requires more air pressure.
[#ditto] BUT… !!! How fine of a line are we looking to spray here?
After playing around with my BCS… whoaa, it’s been a year already… [:O]
I am pretty close to maintaining a pencil line width. I will admit, it’s much easier with my CS no doubt. [;)]
Yes, that was a very good deal. You can’t find that price at any online store that I know of. Many here can get very fine lines with the BCS. If you have to have the CS, you can use the BCS for general spraying and reserve the CS for fine lines, freehand camo, etc.; but I think you will like the BCS just fine, no pun intended.
