Is there a trick to metal stickers?

Just wondering if there’s something I need to know about how to transfer Tamiya metal stickers onto the car body.

I tried twice so far but everytime I lift the cover plastic, the sticker doesn’t stay on the body. If there’s no trick to it, it just means I’m doing it too fast and/or not pressing hard enough, but could I try something else? Like maybe heat a screwdriver and press with that, which may help in weakening the glue a little?

I had a hard time with these too. There seems to be adhesive on the bakcside of the metal part, the part that makes contact with the model. I found the trick was getting as much contact as possible with the plastic. But the videos I’ve seen make this look trivial to do, definitely wasn’t for me.
