This is the hobbycraft rebox of the trumpeter kit. Let me describe this kit for you. Ok, here goes: guano. The fit sucks in general but it was still fun because this goal of this build was to build in the shortest amount of time. This is the end of day three and I’ve got the paint down. All I’ve gotta do is weather and add fine detail painting (and add tracks). Does the paint seem, off?

Had the kit. Your description is correct. Guano. Never finished mine. Instead I got a Tamiya T55 and was sooo much happier. The unassembled T55 looked better than the assembled Hobbycraft kit.

Yep there working now. For fans of the T-55 family. Myself being one. It’s an ok model. Yes the tamiya t-55 is superior but the tamiya is a t-55 and not a type 69. This tank was also used by the NVA in Vietnam.
BTW: This is a family forum. That 4rth picture is somewhat unsuitable for the younger viewers. No pictures of tank humping allowed … ROTFLOL [:p][:D][(-D]
Yea, about that 4th pic. The paladin just jumped off my stereo while I was taking the picture, I had nothing to do with that honest. I guess Mr. P knows what he wants… lol
I built this kit a few years ago and had the same problems you did. It’s now starting to fall apart. I’m not sure why, other than maybe the glue is eating through the parts. It is a good build and I think the color is too yellow, maybe go with something with more tan in it.
