Invasion stripe width in 1/24 scale ?

Hi,

What would be the proper width of invasion stripes in 1/24 scale ? I am building the Trumpeter Mustang. Thanks,

1 actual inch equals 24 scale inches. An 18 inch wide band would be 18/24 ths of an inch or 3/4 ths of an inch. A 15 inch wide band would be 15/24 ths or 5/8 ths of an inch wide.

I think I will go with 3/4 inch.

Spend a couple of bucks on an architectural scale and an engineering scale. It’ll save you
time and frustration on the math conversions and measuring out scale increments.

works for just about evey scale except 1/32 (1" = 32"), 1/35 (1" = 35"), 1/350 and 1/700
