Interior colors of the WWII Japanese WWII A/C

I’m building 1/48 WWII Japanese A/C and I’ve seen a few different interior colors but was wondering what’s the main color? and who has the correct colors?

This website has a wealth of info for WW II Japanese a/c. Tons of pics, restored & unrestored. Interior (cockpit) colors sometimes varied. A Zeke built by Mitsubishi will have a dark green, while those built by Nakajima will have a light yellow/green color. The “main” color depends on the manufacturer. The Aotake (translucent blue/green) was a protective coating for wheel/bomb bays, some a/c flaps, etc. Usually overpainted in the cockpit.

Hey Pixi;
You wouldn’t happen to know the mixture of the Yellow-Green for the Nakajima’s and the Green for the Mitsubishi’s or who makes the correct colors for the WWII Japanese interiors

cuda - Aeromaster used to produce these 2 colors (including MANY other IJN/IJA a/c colors) in their Warbird Acrylic range. These are now OOP, but there may still be hobby shops somewhere that have some left. White Ensign Models

has a Nakajima cockpit color, but they have yet to produce a Mitsubishi cockpit color (its in the works). These are 1/4 oz. tins of paint. I haven’t tried them yet, but I have read good things. The site is worth a look, even though they show no samples (which aren’t reliable anyway, since paint color is an additive process, and computer RGB is subtractive)

cuda - I use the limited supply of Aeromaster Warbird acrylics that I have left. Its difficult to find accurate uinfo for Japanese a/c. At the end of WW II, Mc Arthur ordered the destruction of ALL Japanese offensive weapons, leaving little in the way of preserved aircraft. This page has some very specific links, going into more detail about colors. Hopefully, you can find the info for the particular bird you wish to build.
