Just wanted to drop a quick note to see if you could provide me with the instructions on how to build one of my models that i dug out of storage. I need the instructions to model # 5289 Monogram 1/48 F-101B Voodoo. I have all the parts and decals but am missing the instructions. (As a side note, I did get a PDF file from Matt at Swannys Models but can not get the file toopen and print properly)
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Carlo
That file is formatted weird. It’s all one big page. I can’t find that kit’s manual on Revell’s site either.
Try this. Open it in your PDF reader, zoom in until you get one page on the screen and then print and choose “current view”. You’ll have to do that for each page.
I’m using Foxit reader and this seems to work (it may help to rotate it sideways and print in landscape mode). I don’t know if it will work with the over-bloated slug of a program Adobe makes.
I have the instructions for their kit 5811 which is an F-101 Voodoo. I’m not sure if it’s the same kit though. It’s on one big sheet, but I could scan it in sections if you need it.
I have kit #5853…F101B…instructions are in booklet form, not one big sheet. I think this is the latest re-issue of this kit. If you want me to make a copy and snail mail it to you, drop me a PM with your address.
Len, I open the file with Acrobat Pro 9. It does not recognize it as booklet and treat it as a long continuous page. What do I need to do to make it a booklet?

Try using Microsoft Works to open it. Ive never had a problem with PDFs using that. If it doesnt work, I can make you a copy of my sheet and mail it USPS to you...Ive done this for a few guys already and usually gets there in a few days. I`ll need your address via a PM to do so. Let me know.
