Looking good. What did you use for the nose turret? kit parts, or aftermarket? I’ve got the Koster vac set, so I was just wondering, as it looks very clear. The detail inside the turrents also looks pretty good, did you add any scratch items in there?
Thanks for letting me know what NMF means [:)] I used Revell airbrush paint for it (Silver, number 90 in the revell paint series)
The turrets are the same that came with the kit, i cleaned them well and masked them with tamiya masking tape, then I airbrushed them and removed the masking tape again. The glass part of the turret is actually 2 pieces and when you assemble them you have this really ugly line in it, but there is not much you can do about that sadly.
There was only one turret (front and rear turret are the same type in this kit) but swanny send me a second one (Thanks again Swanny) I didn’t add any scratch build parts.

Very nice job !
Regarding the seam in the turrets - On my B-24D I used a bit of Future dabbed into the seam to make them a little less obvious. It didn’t make them invisible - but it helped a little.

You can also add a very thin length of styrene, same width as the rest of the framing, along the length of the join and it looks like part of the framing. While no B-24 ever had framing there, it does hide it very well and fits in.

Looking great, keep posting more pics when you get a chance.
Or go the Koster route, which at about $15 in the states is pretty cheap. It also includes the J nose too, all in vacform. Can’t wait to get mine started.
If I remember correctly that was one of my very first models back in the early 90’s. If I had the knowledge and tools I have now, I wonder what would have become of my B-24.
Can you tell me where to get one?
I love the way it looks. Can’t wait to see the finish product!
Looking very good from where I’m sitting. Good job!
