In progress pictures of my b24J

Hello there

It’s a converted 1/48 Revell Germany B24D to a B24J ( Many many many thanks Swanny for sending me the J nose section which I could use)
3 pictures from the build thusfar.

I sprayed the plane completly silver as you can see here:

Two pictures of the kit with some more paint and other things on it.

I hope you like the pictures of the kit.

Progress looks good. What are you using for the NMF?

That’s really coming along nicely… beautiful work, and you’re going to have something to be proud of there! [:)]

Thanks for showing it off! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Looking great so far! That sure is one big model!

Are you building it gear up? I’m working on Tamiya’s 1/48 Lanc and did it with the gear up so I can hang it out of the way!

Thanks for the peek!

She looks good from here

Wow, you are making tremendous progess on that. I can’t believe how quickly you are moving on it. The mating of the J nose to the D body looks to have gone perfectly. Keep us posted.

When I saw “b24” in the subject name, it caught my attention. Since I am currently building revell’s 1/48 B-24, I just had to take a look. I guess I should post some pictures of my B-24 too.

Gotta love that metal finish!

lookin good

I think she’s going to be a nice one. Thanks for the look, and keep us posted.[:)]

Aviator I think you should definatly post some pictures of you B24 bulid too!

I think i dont know what a NMF is, could someone tell it to me please?

I’m building it with gear down, in general the gear is that last I add since it gets in the way when you are airbrushing.

it’s looking very “nijs” thijs![:P][:D]

NMF = Natural Metal Finish.
BMF = Bare metal Finish
Your conversion looks really good from where I’m sitting

Great job on the build so far.
