Hey Guys!! (and gals)!!! I just got back from my trip to mexico!! I had a great trip!! We worked in a village where a curch was in need of construction. We did mostly drywall stuff, and working with kids.
Anyway, back to modelling![#offtopic
I am ready to dive back into my sherman kit!
By the way, while I drove through the states, I say an apache, a hughey, an Iraqi tank from a distance, and many other neat vehicles and stuff as we passed the Yuma proving grounds. I also had the chance to stop at an american surplus store and picked up some neat things. I bought a 75mm recoiless rifle shell, a french medical kit, a grenade (not live…[:0]), and a cool looking boxy thing with a whole bunch of dials and stuff. All for 30 bucks!! I would guess that all that could cost around 200 in Canada, because it’s considered rare to see anything like that!
Also, the box… if anyone knows what it is… It says on the side that it is an electronic surveying machine, and also says Electronic Microwave on it [dinner]! The box has dials for frequency, and channels, as well as some sort of counter on it. on the back on the box is a dish for listening or something. The bottom of the box has a screw mount for a tripod.
If this is a common item, or it’s pretty obvious what it does, slap me for my ignorance.[;)]
If I find one on the net, I’ll try to post a pic of it as well!
