Ok I was playing IL2 the other day when I decied to build one. Trouble is Im a figure / armour guy and have no clue about whats hot and whats not in the winged world. If anyone has any recommendations as to which IL2 kits is a good un then Id be happy to hear from you. 1/72 or 1/48 scale (preferrably 1/72nd tho as its easier on my pocket [:D] )

Thanks , both those kits look awesome , the eduard one isnt as expensive as I thought it was gonna be either. I`ll do a little more research , then hopefully pick up my flying tank pretty soon. Thanks again for the info.
Italery has one too, it’s the same mold as tha AM, but much cheaper.
I love IL2, I have the gold pack. I defy anyone to take me out while I am in a Dora or a Hurricane. We should set up a host ( I might be persuaded) for others here who play also.
AM IL2’s are the best IMHO for detail and accuracy.
Well I really suck at the game lol . I can fly about and shoot stuff but dont ask me to land the thing in one piece.Thanx for the tip about the Italieri kit saving money is a good thing 
AM Il2 is the way to go, I have 2 of those kits, one with regular landing gear and another with skis. But only in 1/48.
For any Aircraft I always take Accurate Miniatures or Hasegawa. Both make very nice kits in 1/48. I am working on a AM SBD-2 right now. Very nice kit.

Hey Nezbit I cant figure out how to log in the selection room for the games. I gotta account but its not recognizing me.
so you have an account, it asks you for an email address typed into the empty chat window… if it’s all working thus far you should just have to click on the game you want it should load… maybe a firewall issue i can’t really say. i do have issues like that if i don’t allow all through the firewall.
Also i’m using 3.7.74 BETA version.
I am trying to get Il2, but I can’t find it in the stores. Also Il2 the model I am starting next. I think it is an awsome plane.

you can order the Gold pack online man, it’s easier to find.
You get IL2 Forgotten Battles and the Aces Expansion pack… then all you need is Pacific Fighters and you have nearly 200 flyable planes i think… new update coming soon with the flyable Betty’s and possibly a Tempest maybe a few more.
