Il Sturmovik finished.....finally

This one has been parked on the bench for a while! This is AM’s 1/48 Sturmovik. A great kit but the wing root joints and the wheel nancelles were a poor fit and quit difficult. Required lots o’ putty, Mr. Surfacer and sanding. She is OOB with some small added details. I added belts, rebuilt the rear gunners bar step and bored the guns. I tried for the faded, drab look. AB’d soft camo lines and added white to the colors for panel overspray. Gave the decals a shot of overspray as well. Overall, I realy enjoyed this one and it is a pretty cool little plane. Nice work! Yeah the kits has its moments, but it does finish out into a nice beast! I’ve got one in my display and one in my stash.
