i downloaded a free game called il-2 sturmovik demo
but i cant get it to work i’ll put pics of this program up soon
Does your computer meet the system requirements for the game? What is the issue, any errors? Just a failure at launch, or does it crash after launching?
Just picked up that game, used, for $17.00 for the Xbox 360…youre gonna love it once you get it working! If you have an Xbox 360 ....grab the game at Gamestop instead of horsing around with the demo....Im stuck at Stalingrad but I won`t surrender!!!
NOOOO!!! don’t get the 360 version. Talk about a regression from the PC version. Buy IL2 Sturmovik 1946 and download the latest mods. A Joystick is a must but once you have that you’ll be stuck for days infront of your computer

360 version would definately be a step back from PC, get yourself 3 or more monitors and a good joystick and its on.
well i need for PC and it needs to be demo for a reason i use winrar to get into my games because it isn’t blocked at schools and i play at school on multiplayer it will replace a old game bf1942demo

I was just saying if his computer cant handle the game, an alternative is the xbox game...providing he has one. After all, he sounds like a young guy still in school and dont think he`ll be getting 3 monitors or a whoping gaming system till he gets a job…lol.

What grade are you in? My son is 13 and is in 8th. He bought an XBOX with birthday and xmas money he saved. I`m an old fart…45…but still like playing some video games…bought myself a PS3 a few years ago and my daughters got a Wii for xmas so we have all the systems covered.lol. I like these kinds of games mostly because you put them in and they play…no re-setting graphic cards and selective start ups,etc. PC games definately look better but sometimes are a headache…just my opinion.

If you have SOME money for games, and have your own computer Id suggest downloading the platform ‘Steam’ you can buy games through it and they often sell games at very very low prices in sales. I got the game Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which I love, for 6$ over christmas.

Thats a nice setup. How do you have three monitors? Is one of them running off your comp’s onboard card, or does your Vid card have 3 outputs, mine only has two…
The 5xxx and up series ATI cards can run up to three, two on DVI one on DP. A little more complicated than that, but worth while for a view of the sky/battlefield that is 5760x1080, though it takes a little getting used to with that kind of peripheral vision, visual overload.

Im running with a Nvidea 9800 GTX+ card, only have slots for 2 monitors, so that is what I am running, none of my games require two though, so thats fine. I do want three though. My goal is to have one of those super villian type wall of monitors
