Does anyone know of a good reference for IJN uniforms used during WWII? It could be photos or line drawings, online or printed.

That’s a pricy one too! I’ll keep my eyes out of a copy.

I did find this one at HLJ, so I ordered it. It doesn’t cover the same time frame, but there is a second volume.

Anyone else have a favorite reference?

I have no exhaustive (or even in-depth) IJN reference. But, my starting point is not bad, “Uniforms & Insignia of WWII Navies” from Naval Institute Press. This is a reprint of collected ONI pages for all the belligerents. It includes both the early and late IJN uniform and insignia details.
