Nearly two years in the making, it’s now finished.
Hasegawa’s IJN Aircraft Carrier AKAGI 1:350 w/ PE Upgrade Sets A,B,C and SuperDetail Set, w/ PitRoad’s IJN Seaman WWII - by “Toom”:
I think the upper part of the ship (flight deck), once installed with PE superstructure underneath, would not fit with the lower part (hull) of the ship.
MM, tell Toom that he really did a very good job on this project. The only problem that I can see is a little silvering on the aircraft decals and that the ship’s propellor and propellor shaft brass is too polished looking for my taste. Nice one!
That looks absolutely fantastic! All the structure under the deck and the walkways is fascinating. It makes me want to walk around down there to see what it was like.
subfixer - Thanks much for your kind comments, I’ll pass on to “Toom”. I agree with you about the
little silvering and the too polished propellers & shafts. I’ll let him know this too.

Don - Thanks!
–
Watchman - You’re welcome. Have fun building!
–
Drew - Many thanks for your kind words. Too bad the real ship is not around any more.
–
Phillip1 - Thanks for your kind compliments. It’s not me who built this ship, but it’s “Toom”.
I can be proud only as the owner, all compliments & credit should go to the builder:

kenjitak - Thanks!
–
TD4438 - You may say that again and think of having to do it twice when the first time it would not fit.
You know, the SuperDetail Set alone costs more and have more parts than Upgrade Sets A,B,C combined!
A few days ago I got a new device that could turn my 32" LCD TV into a computer with Internet access. It has Dual Core Processor, runs at 1.6GHz, with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The images I see on TV is much bigger than my desktop PC’s 17" LCD. They look like this:
