It was a question of passion, and I think we are all expressing ours quite clearly. I didn’t say that you would have to be alone. It was only a hypothetical inquiry to find out what kits or planes people really love, without asking the tired, old question, “what’s your favorite kit ?” That question lacks imagination, and I think that we, as creative people, can always find a different way of asking or answering questions. Modelkid, you can have as much of whatever you want, but only one kit. Which will it be ?

If it was an iceberg the last thing I would be worried about would be building kits
Point well taken !
Hey Pix,
I’m still thinking man!!! Decisions decisions[;)][;)].
BTW great thread Pix. Its actually hard to pick since there are soo many great a/c ouy there!!
Flaps up, Mike
I’d probably go with Academy’s 1/32nd F/A-18.
That kit has enough pieces to keep a guy busy enough…and enough ordnance to where you could build an entire squadron of Hornets without any 2 looking exactly alike.
a really beautiful 1:48 corsair F4u-1…it’s my dream plane…i’m practicing up so that when i buy a really great kit, i wont mess it up too badly
For me it would be the Fi 156 Storch in 1:1 scale - then I’m outa there!
For me it would be the Revell P-40 since I really like P-40s.
No contest - Tamiya 1/48th P-47 Thunderbolt.
Jim
The Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire.
Only one kit!!
Well if I must. I would have to go for the Lancaster and all it’s variants. Back date to a Manchester the foreward to a Dambuster, then a Tallboy and Grandslam variants. For a second helping a Bristol engined model. For desert a Lancastrian and a York. Now I will push the envelope with variations…The Lincoln, long and shortnosed modelsand as a finale the Shackeltons. These last two are still variations and enlargements of the basic Roy Chadwick design.
Dai.
1/72nd scale hienkel he 162!!
If I could only have one KIT and not all the different variants in different kit form it would have to be the Eduard P-39. All the parts you need are in the box to build everything from a P-400 to a P-39Q.
any combination of scales of the A-10. Thats the baddest plane ever produced!
I’ll build Tamiya 1/16 RC Tiger. It’s probably the most expensive kit…at least for my knowledge.
