I’m talking about that prototype, with a turret and 60 mm. cannon… I’ve found many pics of model pics, but I need plans of that vehicle, because I want to scratchbuild the turret for a commision, and don’t tell me to buy the resin conversion, please, you know that resin is expensive… Thanks in advance. Most regards.
do you mean the one with the vulcan cannon on it? hmm let me take a look in my books and see if I can find what you’re talking about… On a side note you might have better luck with this forum as it is specifically for all things IDF.
CDNTanker25: I’m talking about the M113 fitted with a turret and a 60 mm HVMS, plus external fuel cells at rear… A friend of mine gave me the kit in commision and I must to do all the modifications, and a plan should be OK, but I think there is no plans, so I must work with proportions only… Thank you guys for the links, they was very useful, I found other pics for my project. Most regards.
The Australians did not use the same vehicle. The Aussie vehicle was a Vietnam era M113A1 FSV (Fire Support Vehicle) which mounted a British Saladin turret & was armed with a 76mm gun. In the 1970s, it was upgraded with a Scimitar turret, mounting the same 76mm main gun, and re-designated as the MRV (Medium Reconnaissance Vehicle).
I just scanned the Verlinden instructions for the resin conversion. If you want a copy, send your e-mail to me at ajlafleche@comcast.net and I’ll send right back to you.
