ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco U.S. Navy

Pretty good kit, engineered well but still needs a lot of checking and dry fitting, especially the large canopy area. The instructions make no mention of nose weight, you need probably 20-25gms, (check before gluing it all up). The landing gear legs are rather flimsy, so I don’t know how they will go over time. I added Eduard Space instrument panels and PE, Eduard Resin wheels, Quickboost resin seats and Master Models brass pitot. Quite awkward to handle once you start getting it all together.

One of the coolest paint jobs I’ve ever seen on an OV-10. I really do admire your finishes on all of your models. Not too overdone, just right. Beautiful build!

I’ve never seen this scheme on this plane either- it is cracking looking! Superbly eye catching and weathered nicely too.

Have two (2) of these in the stash, both going to be made as VAL-4 “Black Ponies” during the Vietnam war, with a ‘typical’ quick reaction load-out.

I’m with the other guys and say that I’ve never seen this scheme on a Bronco and it looks amazing! Great job on this project.

Great build! The glasswork is boom wow. Really interesting subject as well. I did a 1/72 Cal Fire version.

Thanks again guys, :+1:

Beautiful work. I loved the colors and the finish.

Amazing work. The clarity and detail of the canopy is great. Nicely rendered paint and weathering. Very cool :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Thanks for sharing.
