If your looking for something to spruce up your aircraft diorama, look no further. ICM has done a great job in designing a very realistic,and easy to assemble landing mat.

You can also use it with 1/35 vehicles. During my active duty time in the army, my battalion had acquired some of this stuff and we used to carry it along in our M113s to use as a basis for overhead cover when building fighting positions.
