hey guys, just won 2nd place with my gun for hire vignette in the 54mm figures or smaller category!!! [party] may not be much but at least i feel like im doing something right. my fist show, and im ecstatic!!! hat’s off to fermis too for he won just about every award including best of show with his fantastic a-10!!! i have alot of pics and as soon as i can get them to load i will post!!! [:D]

i was just happy to be there whether or not i won didnt really matter…but bringing home a 2nd place for my first show was still very pleasing. mayhem is going in the spring.

thanks fett man and thanks too fermis. good meeting you and kevin there. i know i didnt talk a whole lot to you guys but my mind was focused on everything going on. the evening wasnt completely without incident though…lol. i got back to my car after being dropped off and was about a mile if not less from that point on my way home…well the stop light was out and i didnt see it until i was on top of it. wouldnt you know there was a cop right there next to me…who did stop. [sigh] well, he pulled me over. first time (ever). he asked me if i remembered my drivers training manual about stopping at lights when out. i looked at him and said “i didnt see it”! well, he hesitated then asked me if i was drinking. b4 i could finish saying “no” he was walking away to his car. then he drove off. ok…guess i lucked out twice last night. for the record i have a spotless (always have) driving record. guess it’s time to go buy a lotto ticket!!! [(-D]
1st off, CONGRATS brother! I’ve never had the chance to even attend, let alone enter, a contest but I can only imagine the boost it would give you. Any chance of seeing a pic or two of the prize winning build? 2nd, did you pick up that lotto ticket yet? Keep it up, you’re obviously on the right track.

WELL DONE!!! Does make you feel good. Wait til you get that your first first place. I got mine last year at the Region 12 regionals, first time ever going to a regionals and got first in modern armor. I was absolutely surprised as I felt the model that won was not one of my best works.
