Does anyone know where I can get plans,drawings,photos,etc… for the World War 1 German U-boat “U-9”?

Hi u-boater,

Sometimes it takes a while to get an answer on the forum as a lot of the members are working or are in different time zones. I MAY have an answer for you. A long, long time ago, I got a bunch of drawings for U.S. Subs from 1918 to 1926 from Warship Drawings, Edward H. Wiswesser, 407 N. 25th Street.,Pennside, Reading, Pa.(don’t have a Zip Code). I don’t know if they are still in business or if they are whether or not they have U-Boat drawings also. It’s worth a try. Hope this is helpful.

No U-9s there, but contact Eduard the proprietor. He’s Russian, but seems to have a good handle on English. He may be able to help
