All for £38.75 or $74.00, thought it was a good buy.
Hope to build a great looking version of one of my favorite WWII aircraft. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the detail setsa and decals as I know the Tammy 262 is just about the best in 1/48.
(wiping away drool) And how quickly will it take you to tear open the boxes and get started on the project? I can’t wait to see pics. The Schwalbe is one of the coolest birds around.
He He Mucker I know wht you mean I am at the moment sitting here with the decals out and all of the eduard bits thinking “shall I take a look at the Aires stuff?”. I want to finish the BF109 I am working on along with the classic aiframes B P Defiant(my first try with resin parts). Then I think I will conentrate on the 262.
If anyone has any good reference, book reccomendations or web sites, then please post them.
Of the AM you listed, I’ve only used the Eduard PE set, which is very nice. It’s designed for the kit cockpit though, so I’m not sure how it would work with the Aires resin/PE cockpit set.

I have had a look at both bits and think that most of the eduard set will be redundant, I will use the pre painted instrument panel and belts probably some of the thinner parts too but the wiring and levers etc look better in the 3Dness of resin.
