Could someone be so kind as to advise what the interior color (s) are fot the desert storm and iraqi freedom Marine humvees are?/ Thanks so much for your help!! [:)]
The army is not very imaginative on its paint schemes, the inside is gererally the same color as the outside unless you are modeling for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Some of the hummers are desert inside, these are the newer ones that have come from the factory in their desert paint. The older ones, that have been painted sand outside of the factory are still green on the inside. Like I said, the same color green as the outside.

As far as the army goes I concur with Sgt. Gentry, my humv in Desert Storm was painted sand on the outside, but the inside was left forrest green. We even left the green canvas covers on them. Then again, our M88 recovery vehicle was left in overall forrest green for the entire campaign. It didn’t get painted sand until we got back to Fort Riley. I’d expect the marines get the same treatment.
Every Humvee I ever drove or was riding in was the same color as the outside, usually green. The seats were black vinyl and most often torn to bits.
