It needs a lift kit, bigger tires and a winch.
But seriously, that is an uncommon camo scheme. Where did you reference it? I like the build.

Well, interesting scheme. There was a platoon from a National Guard MP Company (don’t remember which unit) that had a zebra-striped camo with sand, black, and grey, but yours isn’t it.
A few issues with your build though. First, I wouldn’t call it Out Of the Box (OOB) since you have made some changes; doors, weapons mount, rear CIP, mirrors, rear rack, etc. OOB implies that you built it straight from the box with no additions, modifications, or changes to the kit.
It also looks like you have tried to convert it into an M1114 Up-Armored HMMWV. You have added a few of the M1114 specific items; such as the lowered mirrors, AC vents on left rear, and armored doors (sort of). It needs a lot more modifications to be an M1114 though. Mig has an M1114 conversion. You can see all the neccessary changes below.
The M60E3 MG up top is no longer used either. It was replaced in the mid-'90’s by the M240 MG. Looks like your front turn signal lights and reflectors are red as well. They should be amber.
Good effort and it looks to be a clean build, just not accurate as an actual HMMWV in use in Iraq, or anywhere else for that matter.
We had an M60 assigned to us while in Iraq OIFII. Although uncommon and most young soldiers had no idea what it was. Us “older” ones knew how to use it. We mounted it in the “turret” of our trail gun truck, an M114.
You may have had an M60 MG, but I’m willing to bet it was not an M60E3, since this version was only used by the USMC for a few years from the mid-late '80s till the mid '90s. There are a few M60s still out there in National Guard/Reserve units, but 99.9% of Active Duty units have traded them all for M240s.
Even if it isn’t regulation, it is quite different. N ice job.
No it wasn’t an E3, true. The unit was HHC 1ID (Mech), DTAC. They had a “sharpshooter” course from which it probably originated. That was the only one. The rest were 240’s and 249’s
I saw a couple of M60s on Humvees in Afghanistan, mainly the RCAC teams. Lots of M240s, M249s, and .50s, too.
That is one I haven’t seen before. Interesting camo. It is an M1114 though and would need the MIG update or some more conversions to be correct. The second MG on it is an M249 SAW too, not an M60E3.
Don’t mess with HeavyArty.
Very interesting camo scheme.
[#ditto] other than the inaccuracies that have been pointed out it is a nice looking build katera .
It is a M1114. The give away is the extended grill and forward opening hood along with ac vents. I have not seen this camo pattern before, and its quite amusing. I am in the process of scratch building my own M1114 to look like the one I rode in in Iraq in 2005. Does anybody make the turret armor w/ .50 caiber gun mount or maybe know of an upcoming release? I have the MIG parts, still waiting on the wheels. By the way we had M60E3’s along with M16A1 rifles while serving in the Al Anbar province, and honestly I hated them, but my buds loved them. I found the .50 cal to be my personal choice.
