Is maskol safe to use over Tamiya acrylics?
An unrelated question. Is it considered bad etiquette to post a question shortly after someone else has posted? I’d hate to not give someone a chance to have their question answered.
Yes it is, give it a good stir first every time you use it, makes a world of difference.

In my experience, Humbrol Maskol will eat through Tamiya acrylics if applied too thickly.
If you ensure that the base colour is fully cured first and you apply the Maskol lightly, it shouldn’t be a problem.
