I built this Huey about 5 months ago, so don’t blame me for the dust on it. It has fishing line on it becuase it was hanging from my ceiling. My question is, how do you guys keep windows clear of glue, since I seem to be horrible at it, and what is the best way to paint models? SPray or Brush. I did this one with a brush, and i think it turned out well. If spray, what is a very good spray gun I can look into? And please rate it, for I want to know how well I did, and rate truthfully! [;)]

Looks like the 1/48 Monogram UH-1C. Not bad for what you had to work with! I use regular Elmers White Glue for clear parts alot unless there is plenty of canopy frame to hide the frosting a regular glue gives to the mating edge. The interior is usually grey as well as the rotor head section. Keep at it! Check out my Vietnam Unit Web Page in my profile. There are some new photos that are great!

Nice work! I too use Elmers White Glue to attach clear parts to the model. To make the “glass work” look better, I clean the glass (canopy, windscreens, etc…) then coat them in Future Floor Polish. The effect is astounding…makes the glass look crystal clear.
Looks good to me, I use 5 minute epoxy for windows, I also use Novus #2 polish on the to clean them up.
