I#8217;m going to build 1/48 Hasegawas Hs 129. In the instruction booklet it states that amongst others I will need colours RLM 04, 66, 70. I#8217;ve looked at some reference charts, but I#8217;m not convinced these are correct. What would the colours be in Tamiya or Humbrol paints ?? (I can only get Tamiya and Humbrol.) What colour is steel by the way ??
Can’t help ya with the Humbrol and tamiya colors.
“Steel” usually means dark silver
Presuming a standard Luftwaffe paint job, your upper surfaces should be RLM 70 black green and RLM 71 dark green, with either RLM 65 blue or 76 light blue on the undersides. 04 is yellow for the fuselage bands and wing tips. 66 is dark gray for the cockpit interior.
I also have the Hasegawa kit. I have an Italeri 1/72 Hs129 also the colors are RLM 65 70 and 71 good luck JOHN
