How'bout the "real" story on that Corsair?

That young mountain boy had used his new Ford to assist the family “business” by helping get the corn crop to market for almost two years before the attack on Pearl Harbor. After many high speed runs late at night with the lights off, the “corn” sloshing around in the back and the revenue agents on him like another shadow on those narrow crooked mountain roads, the “hose nosed, bent wing bird” held little terror for him. He was really kinda happy that now he could shoot back! LOL
