How to make Barb or Razor wire

Hello everyone. Does anyone have a simple way of making barb or razor wire? The Dio I am working on is a SH-3H Seaking on a tar mack near a fence. I need to make barb or razor wire for the top of it. It is 1/48 scale. Thank You in advance…Tony ( Hamming )

In my opinion, the scale would be too small to notice the barbs so, just some basic sowing thread rubbed through wax and then melted into the thread should be good enough.

I use the material you get to repair screen doors and windows. I just cut it up and you have all the barb wire you need.
