I recently bought a Shining Gundam 1/100 Master grade model. It has a few joints on the endoskeleton that require screws. As I was screwing together one of the shoulders I managed to strip the head of the screw without noticing. They screw is about the size of an eye glass screw. It is in beneath the indentation so using pliers to remove it is out of the question. I really dont want to purchase a new model but it seems like that may be the only way to solve this problem. I’m sorry if this isn’t descriptive enough and I’ll supply with a picture tomorrow if it will help give an idea of what I have to work with.
I dont know if they go that small, but sears, or any tool supplier sells a screw extractor set…you might try that route…

Not sure if this will work on a model bit it has bailed me out a lotta times, use your dremel tool to cut another slot in the screw head and the just use a screw driver to take it out Hope that helps you out.
I’m guessing that the screw head is in a counterbore (recessed below the surface), and really with a screw that small there’s only one way to remove it without further damage to the rest of things. Take a small drill in a pin vise and slowly drill the head of the screw off (all you need is a drill a few thousandths bigger than the thread diameter). Then seperate the parts, and remove what’s left. If the head of the screw is above the surface, I’d do the samething. Or just maybe you can get a pair of hemostats on the head. Good luck!
