How to chip FW-190?

What color (primer?) should be revealed as I apply “chipping” of the camouflage and the blue underside?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe RLM specifications for “primer” was RLM 02. I would think the FW 190 A0 to A3 models (1941 to 1942) respectively, may have had a base of RLM 02. A4 and later variants may have received RLM 66 in the cockpit but everything else remained 02.

Can’t help with primer color question, sorry, but that sure is a nice picture.

My main question would be why? The Germans had very good paint and the 190s typically had a short life span. Yes they will show some wear and tear but…

Good points

I looked this up before when i thought I was gonna do a 1:32 109, accourding to specifications, Primer was strictly RLM 02, early aircraft (built probably 1939-1941) had the cockpit also painted RLM 02, but mid early war specifications changed to anything in the cockpit visible through the glass was painted RLM 66 and you also asked about the blue underneith, i believe there were only two variants of blue that were used, early war it was lighter and late war which was darker.
