How do you pronounce: Dewoitine?

Hi fellas,

I was putting together a die-cast plane that my father bought for himself. I have been familiar with the D.520, but I never knew how to pronounce the name. I took Spanish in high school, not French, so I’m at a loss. Can any of you fine, knowledgeable people help me?

FYI, it’s from iXOmodels, 1/72 scale. The only assembly required is for the gear (up or down), pitot, antenna, prop, and airscoop.

Thanks Jim, but it’s not my paint job. :slight_smile:

It came pre-painted, and nearly assembled. Dad didn’t have any superglue, and the gear were not fitting correctly. I just took it home, sanded off some rough spots and glued a couple of pieces on. No skills required, just better eye sight.

It’s actually the first “model” that I’ve finished in a long, long time. :wink:

But it’s nice as a toy. Like they say on Antiques Roadshow,

“If you hadn’t repainted it…”

I collected diecast for a while and it’s a whole separate schedule of values. I like that model.
