Hi to all you fine scale modellers out there,iam new to useing tamiya putty (white) can some one please tell me how to apply?and what is the best way to clean off the excess?this makes me sound like iam an idiot right!i built a lot of models as a kid but never like the ones you see in this magazine and i would like to take the next step to make my models look like the ones you see in this magazine so if anyone can help me i would be very thankfull for there help.

P.S. will lacquer thinner (tamiya) work as well as nail polish remover?
Not sure if if laquer thinner would work, I’d just go with nail polish remover, I know that works well…but it has to have acetone in it, then it wont work. My wife was mad when I tried it with hers, so I got my own bottle, with acetone.
yer my wife got a bit upset when she saw me looking at her nail polish remover,what do you need that for she said,so i told her and she is getting me a bottle of my own tonight when she go’s shoping.
