Honda CBR 1100 XX "With Me" Colour scheme.

Hi all.

I will be stripping and repainting part of the above Tamiya Kit., got one colour just a bit too bright. Tamiya never supplied it and it was the good ol’ MK I eyeball measurement.

The Kit is bassically the same as their other Blackbird kit but with decals and colours(2 tone blue) for the Japanese " With Me" racing theme.

I will be posting pictures most prolly on Sunday with the resprayed fairing and other parts, adding decals will be a lenghtier procedure there are quiet a few. Like the tigershark mouth decals for it. [:D]

While it is stripped I might also thing the fairing to make it look better.

FYI, I think the kit with those markings was a “Japan only” release so it is possible that you migt not have seen it. Can’t find pictures of the bike/kit online.

Wish Tamiya would re-issue their 1/6 Harley Fat Boy that was also a limited Japan only kit.

The Tamiya Fat Boy, was not just for Japan.
Up here in the Great White North (Canada), I have seen one.
Actually, I owned it for a while, then I sold it.
I also own the “With Me” CBR.

Over here they were marked as Japan only, of course R10 & HLj would also sell them as they are japan based.
