Let’s make a list of great hobby stores for armour all across the country so if you know of a good hobby store that has lots of armour kits and stuff add it to the list that way we know where the good ones are.I’ll start “Northstar Military Hobbies”- Missisauga, Ont. Canada
Baseline Hobby on L.I. NY. Lots of selection and aftermarket products for armor kits. Friendly owner and reasonable price. I was introduced to this place by James (CDNtanker)
Anyone know a good LHS in the Houston area? I don’t know of a single one, now that Hobby Island is gone. Sucks, I know - but I do understand what draws LHSs out of business. I considered opening up a shop myself, but then I got to looking at my potential P&L’s, and decided that it would be better to just keep my present job - and keep doing things like eating and paying the rent.
Ya know, all that being said - you’d think the fourth largest city in the US, a city of 4-1/2 million people, would have at least one good supplier of AM stuff. Right? So there’s gotta be one somewhere…
When you come to Reno NV you must stop by High Sierra Hobbies, they have an excellent selection of armor (and aircraft, railroad stuff, supplies etc). They will special order things that I need (Thanks Tom!) and always have the latest and greatest offerings. [:)]
