I’ll be travelling to Namba,Osaka next week… and very interested if somebody can recommend me any scale hobby shops (aircraft) there? thanx…
Check out Super Kids Land (http://shop.joshin.co.jp/shopdetail.php?cd=1707) in Nipponbashi (Den Den Town), and Hobby Land (www.hobbyland.co.jp) in Honmachi. Both are in the Namba area, and both carry every aircraft kit (and every other genre, for that matter) and accessory you could possibly imagine. And both are within walking distance of my apartment!
When exactly are you going to be here? Depending on my work schedule, I may be able to take you right to 'em myself!

Well, I’m there for JIAM 2005 exhibition (for business trip)… As for scale model, actually, I’m hunting for Tamiya’s 1/48 Raiden… Do you think I can get it there? I know it’s out of production now… Hmm… I wonder if u can check it out for me… [:D]
I’ll be staying at Osaka Swissotel… When u mentioned Niponbashi & Hommachi, do u mean the rail stations? If I’m not wrong, the hotel is nearer to Nipponbashi… Any pointers of how to get to the Nipponbashi hobby shop?
