Hobby Lobby has Testors (3oz) spray paint on clearance for $1.79, 2.22, $3.84ish.
Most are candy colors or metallics. i.e. car colors!
I bought all the transparent colors they had for $1.79
Also a few cans of Floquil texture spray cans for .48 cents.
I bought all 8 cans of the Floquil texture paint.
I assume these are either discontinued colors or older stock.
The cans priced at $3.84 is about what you would pay with a coupon but you can buy all they have and not have to buy one at a time with a coupon.
I realize the texture paint can be bought in regular size spray cans at Walmart for about $5-$6. However, I find these prone to clogging before you can use the whole can. Shouldn’t be as big a waste with the smaller cans.
Unfortunately I didnt find any cans of gloss or dull coat.
Oh, they had a VW T1 Samba Bus for $11. I think its a 1950. I keep seeing the dios with rusted out, faded paint, dented, wrecked vehicles that make me wanna try techniques that I dont get an opportunity to do with by scifi, space, and figure builds.
I’ve seen several rusty VW bus dios I wanna try to duplicate.
