Hobby Lobby did sell some Tamiya products, but only a handful of types, and most of those being older kits. It would be nice if they started carrying more, but I suspect that the pricing of many Tamiya kits has something to do with their lack of products at HL.

Yeah, they have the walker bulldog tank at mine. Just seems that there could be more, even older kits from the 90ā€™s would be nice.

They used to have Tamiya at mine,but not for a long time,their newer Easy Eight was always about $25 with coupon,I even got a Meng Toon tank there,but now,mostly cars,with a few Revell planes,but I never looked to them for kits anyway,so no loss for me.

I just stopped in today and am sad to report that mine, too, no longer has any Tamiya kits. The same cars and trucks, a few old Revellogram planes and ships, and a handful of Gundam and Star Wars.

Still, at 40% off, it might be worth grabbing duplicates of a couple Star Wars boxingsā€¦

I was cleaning my airbrush and just put the nozzle back in when I donā€™t know what happened, but the air brush hit the floor. apparently, it took a nose dive because the end of the nozzle didnā€™t feel right. I knew I must have ruined it so I started to look for places I could just by a new nozzle. Then it hit me. Just get a new brush that is easier to use so I went to hobby lobby and picked up an Iawta trn1 airbrush. It has a trigger instead of a push button on the top that you have to actuate up and down and back and forth. and you can set the amount of paint at the back of the air brush with an adjustment knob so every pull of the trigger is the same. Canā€™t wait to try it out on a spare body I have.

Congrats Mark, happy accidents. So, i guess that is a single action airbrush? I have been interested in those trigger style airbrushes. I hope it works well for you.

Very late with this answer but yes, it worked very well for me. Iā€™m hoping to use some new paint hobby lobby sells that is airbrush ready, so I just squirt it in my airbrush and paint. Hope it works on my new Porsche 911 build, which is an original IROC Porsche Mark Donohue drove to the first IROC championship.
