Anybody know if this is a one coupon per day per customer deal, or is it a good ol’ buy as many kits as you want with as many coupons as you can get deal?
Thanks for the heads up! A buddy of mine was complaining they were just doing 1/3 and 40% off lately. I happend to tell my kids I wanted a Hobby Lobby Gift Card for Father’s Day! Just in time except still no Academy CH-53’s on the shelf. I guess I’ll have to get another CH-46 and the 1/32 F-16 by Academy. Then there are a couple Trumpeter F4U-1D’s marked for $65. That would be a great price, $32.50!

There is one HL about 15 miles away and three more over in St Louis between 30 and 50 miles from my house. I am over there almost every day anyway, so it would be only a slight detour to go visit them. It is rediculous to buy more models, but I have this insatiable disease to buy more models, buy more models, buy more models. You know what I mean?

I wondered that myself. The 40% off coupon usually specifies 1 item per day. This one doesn’t. My guess is they’ll honor more than one. The folks at the HL here are always very friendly. I can’t imagine they’d argue too much- their goal is to move stock, so why not sell more than one.
And at 50% off- if it was an issue- I’d drive over there every day at lunch. 
Of course, I make it sound like I’ll pick up dozens of kits… it’ll probably be 2. LOL

I was wondering the same thing… there’s an s in “items”, which to me implies as many as you can afford, but I’m not sure I want to get in an argument with the cashier.

They don’t appear to be anywhere in the NW that I’m aware of. Well, we got our first Walmart in the early 80’s, so who knows if they will expand out here. I guess that would be okay, too many kits in the stash right now.

I just returned from the Medina, Oh. store…don’t waste your time…nothing there…and no sale. It appears either they’re getting out of the model bus. or, they’re gonna completely re-load. They had very little available.

From what I have been told they are cutting back on the models and supplies. I’ve talked to the lady that does the ordering and she told me they are doing away with a lot of model stuff.
Yeah… Thats what it looks like to me, I was just up there and walked out with nothing! they just don’t have a real good selection anymore. unless you want an Allison Mustang, Yuk!
I thought something was up. The two HLs here haven’t re-stocked their kits since Christmas. Better get 'em while you can folks…
The local one here has a few kits, but good ones- AccuMinis -51s, SBD’s, TBF’s and F3’s, Tamiya’s -51,-47, F4U1D, 190’s, Zeros, several Hasegawa kits, a few Revell kits. Ton of armor and cars.
I picked up a Revell 1/48 P-38L for <$7. I may go back before weeks end and splurge and get the -47 and a -51, or maybe the George Bush TBF. At half off- who cares if the selection is limited! [;)]
One coupon per kit per day[:D]
I have noticed around here that they all have the same kits, from one city to another, its all the same selection! I think there is only 1 kit that I’m interested in, but I’m not sure its worth the hour drive to go get it, even at 50% off. I got the two I really wanted at the discount, now it seems like they don’t have anything else that intresets me, but I am finding that I can’t find as much that I want anymore, and I don’t have a huge stash by any means… oh no! I’m getting soft [:(]
I got an awesome deal yesterday on a 1/32 sacle hornet!!! There where two on the shelf one was marked $144 and the other $42. So i picked it for $21, have no idea what i’m gonna do with it but oh well.
