Hobby Craft 1/35 Hummer MOTORIZED!

I finally picked up the Hobby Craft “Special Ops” Hummer at Hobby Lobby since they have a big sale going this week [1/3 off plastic models and another store had 1/2 off all plastic models]. Any ways i open up the box and what-do-ya-know a freaking DC motor falls out! It had an option to build it either motorized or not. It also incudes parts to build either a square canvas top version or the “slanted hard top”. It also includes an M-60 and .50 cal machine guns to mount on the roof. I’m sure some of you guys already new of this kit but I’m a newbie to “armor” and now I’m addicted ever since i finished my first jeep last week and am currently working on a tamiya Bradley. I’m going to paint it solid olive drap like the one my dad had when he was stioned in germany. Any advice or painting tips [like the engine block, and interior] would be greatly appreciated!

The engine would be unpainted aluminum alloy. I have several photos of both Bradleys and HMMWVs in my motor pool gallery. The early Bradleys were painted a flat forest green, they just looked OD with the weathering.

Thanks Gronovious! Does any one know why there are parts halves for four oil drums but there are only two lids and two bottoms? There is no mention of the drums [nor the four included gas cans] in the instructions so i have no Idea.
