Here’s my newest diorama. It depicts a Panzer IV Ausf. H, Schwimmwagen, and soldiers of the 12th SS Panzer Division “Hitlerjugend” on June 7, 1944 - D-Day plus one. The tank and its crew are from Border Model, the infantryman on the tank is from Miniart, the men in the Schwimmwagen are from Alpine Miniatures, and the standing soldier is from ARTO Production.
Really like the layout of the diorama. Camo looks good on the uniform. Nice foliage on the ground work.
Thanks @Cbowling! I wasn’t sure if doing a rectangle was the best idea (instead maybe an oval), but in the end I like how it turned out.
Very nice work. The rectangle works very well. Now have you thought about some background images to enhance your diorama?
Thanks Manuel! I’ve considered background images before, just never actually tried it. Maybe I’ll try it sometime.
Very nicely done. The camouflage uniforms are particularly noteworthy. I am currently building the original Tamiya Schwimmwagen (with the help of the photoetch detail set for the more modern Tamiya kit) for a Russian Front diorama, so it is timely and great to see what you have done.
Thank you, Paul, I appreciate it.
