Wow! Thanks for all of the replies. And many thanks for the kind words on my models. I just destroyed a Tamiya P-51! Very disappointing to spend so many hours to realize that it just ain’t working out. Oh well, I have a new test model! On to the Hasegawa F-18 Night Attack.
When I see the level that many of the modelers here are at, I have to consider myself an amateur. While I always try my best to do a good job there are still a lot of techniques that I do not know.
My airbrushing technique is really very poor, but earlier this year I invested in some good equipment (Paasche VL and compressor) and results are gettng better. I still have major problems with some of the most elemental airbrushing aspects.
And I just discovered the 3rd party enhancement kits that are available. Holy crap! some of the kits are just insane.
Anyway, I feel it’ll be a while before I get to level of some of the folks here.
