Welcome
live long and model ,er, prosper(yes i’m a deranged trekkie)

Glad to hear it, I’m a bit of a trekkie myself you might say. I even had a speaking part in Denise Crosby’s “Trekkies”. It lasted all of a second and I was talking about it being okay to have a barbara adams on my jury so I won’t brag to much. But if you happen to see the film. I’m about 15 minutes into it. In a Starfleet uniform. They cut out my best line. I said I’d want Barbara Adams on my jury if they’d let me wear my uniform too. They only put in my response about how given the ideals of Star Trek, she’d be an asset. Or something like that.

May the Force be… oops. Live Long and Prosper.

Haven’t seen Trekkies yet. I want a copy though. I love Denise Crosby. I think I have the entire funaral from SKin of Evil memorized.

That was a great scene wasn’t it. Denise is a Sweetheart too. I had my picture taken with her when she was in Little Rock and had it blown up. It looked like she had had dental work done on one of her back molars but I overlooked that. Afterall, actors are people too. They have to get put and pump gas and buy grocery’s the same as the rest of us. Anyway, I saw her again about a year later and asked her to sign the picture. She took it an said, “what’s that in my teeth?” I told her I’d thought she had been having dental work and wasn’t going to say anything. Then, grinning from ear to ear, she said; “it’s Spinach!” And it probably was. I remember that her stage appearance was delayed because she had got there late and needed to get something to eat. She came out and told us she’d had a salad and apologized for making us wait. She signed it and told me that in a few years, we’d get together and laugh about it. Somehow, I don’t think she was serious.[:p]

I’ve never met any of the Star Treks’ casts. I’ve written to a couple actors and they seem great. Denise brought two amazing characters to life. They were so similar and so different, like mother and daughters are. The sheer mental toll that had to be to create that relationship and back stories and then show them without really telling them. Tasha was probably the first Trek character I really liked. That emotional depth the strong woman, thats what a girl looks for in a role model.
