Just joined the up to hopefully get some tips. Not built a scale model for 40years, having just built a workshop with a model setup it is time. I look forward to reading and hopefully contributing where I can.

Hi Brad,
I do like warbirds of WWII, also ships and submarines. Will start there I think, however would also be good to build some Aussie/American muscle cars !
I have an old Arkit Gulnara ship part finished which has sentimental value to complete, however looks quite daunting just now

Its a work in progress, however it is a start. It is an old office desk with height adjustment if I can power it up !
This is all in my 6m x 4m workshop so have plenty of space to expand when needed.

Though I’ve never built a ship, I want to sometimes. I find the prospect of a one to two year build process quite daunting though.

Looking good, sir. I envy you the plywood wall. That would come in handy for hanging paint racks and tool storage.
