Hi everybody,
my name is Marko Skukan, 25, from Croatia. Since I was a kid I was buying FSM and it was the only modelers magazine in Croatia avaliable, but one day it just stopped coming unfortunately. So being here as a member of FSM forum brings me memories of time when I was learning about new tehniques as a kid. I can say that almost everything I know today was from articles in FSM because I didn’t have internet a long long time and haven’t been conected to other modelers. I’ve lerned how to wash (I always wondered how you guys achive those dark panel lines), to paint chip, shade, use and clean my aibrush, mask, to place decals without silvering etc…almost everything
My area of interest is mostly aircraft modeling, and my latest models are Sukhoi Su-33 using Sol in 1/48, F/A-18C Hase 1/48, Fairey Swordfish Tamiya 1/48, Stug III 1/48 Tamiya with verlinden and Aber, Me-262, Mc-202 etc…
I am curently working on 1/32 scale Su-27 Trumpeter with a lot aftermarket and scratchbuild engine and engine bay and Trumpeter Sovremenny 1/350 with WEM pe parts.
Iwould like to show you some pictures of my work, but I don’t know how to post pictures, any advice?
You can do a search on how to post pics on the forums and there are many great posts with instructions on how to do that. Here is the quick run down.
You’ll need to “host” your pictures on a photo hosting website such as www.photobucket.com You will have to set up an account on their website, but it’s free. You then upload your pictures to the picture hosting website. Once it’s uploaded you simply copy the image link (the 3rd of the 3 links they provide for you to your picture) and paste it into your posts on the FSM website.
You do the same process to put pictures or badges in your signature, just copy and paste the link into the appropriate place when you go in to update your profile.
Yes, I have consider that, but at that time I didn’t know how to subscribe, even more how to pay. I have asked why did it stop coming, but no straight answer ever came.
I just might consider subscribing today even it would cost me a lot to arrive to Croatia.
