I bought this little guy right after it came out in 2008. I started working on it right away and for whatever reason got burned out on building Gundams and modeling in general. Just last month I was itching to work on something. While digging through the stash I came upon the Zaku. Figured it would be an easy way to get back into the grove of modeling. Painting was done with Tamiya acrylics. The limbs were painted khaki mixed with a little white and yellow. Chest, feet and the shield was painted Red Brown mixed with some white. And the grey parts were painted neutral grey. Weathering was done with Tamiya pastels.
Kind of wish I did a little more work on this guy after seeing bysamato’s WIP. But it just gives me motivation to make my next kit twice as good.
