Hey people- I need help finding a kit

He’s high school. I am one up. or one down something,

Rebel99, I’ve bought and sold a bunch of models on eBay and have had good luck for the most part. If you decide to buy, ask questions before bidding about the condition of the kit. If the seller doesn’t respond or is vague, don’t bid.

I searched for the model that you’re seeking with no luck other than those links that have been given. Sorry I couldn’t help, but did want to give a bit of advice on eBay.

Gradeschool in 1994-95?! I’ve got socks that are older than that!

Matt

I don’t plan on going to college. too expensive. besides, all the jobs around here don’t need it. I’ll probably end up working at one of the 2 farm dealerships out my back door. they send you to courses for about a month and a half a year, for 4 years and then you got your J.M. (journeyman mechanic or something else if your in parts, I don’t know what its called)

Jeez, i really miss high school… where teachers spoon fed you everything… i’ve had one or two classes where they let you be for the semester and you just come for finals… sigh youth is wasted on the young. [;)]

nothing like eating a bag of cookies crumbs in lieu of a meal because you’ve worked at a comp all day on papers I’m down to 35 pgs my the way.

Well, I tried Happy Hobby… the lady that worked there didn’t seem to umm… happy. She said that that kit wasn’t in their computer and that they hadn’t carried it in years. She seemed mad that I was trying to order something that their web site says they have but don’t. She said that she didn’t know why it is still listed on the web page but assured me that it would be removed. Boy, o.k… My bad. Ebay had two Testos (Fujimi kit re-boxed) for a collective sum of $8.00, so I’m trying on those. It’s my first Ebay bid so I hope it works well. For those who asked, it was two airplanes in one box- the F6F-5 and A6M-2 and was called "Zero VS Hellcat. I built the Fujimi model once (my first 1/48 Hellcat) and wanted to do it again and make it look really nice. It may sound stupid, but I like taking some of those old kits that don’t come with much and adding detail to them. It’s a break from the usual Hasegawa or Tamiya. It seems as though it was just yesterday I was in Junior high wishing I was working on airplanes, and now look at me- a BUFF mechanic. One year of college and a year and a half of A&P school makes high school seem so far back… My advice to the younger charges here: enjoy high school and have as much fun there as you can. It will go by very fast, trust me on this one. Thanks for all your help!
