You have done many impressive builds of German aircraft-esp. ME262s. Have you ever done an early tail dragger-or heard of a kit??

Here’s a review of the one I think your’er talking about:

Thanks, Sphealey but the one I remember was jet powered. But this is one cool and unknown (to me) version. Merci beaucoup!

I haven’t been able to find any conversions for the Me 262 V3. This was the Jumo 004-powered “PC+UC” aircraft, often seen in video. It had a canopy similar to the one in the above link, and the main gear legs and tailwheel are similar. The engine intake “bullets” are also slightly. They don’t have the manual start “D” ring, and have a circle of small holes around a larger center one.
If you want to build it in 1/72, you could kitbash the prop-powered V1 with a production 262. Add the nose and engines to the V1, fill the nosewheel doors, cannon ports & ejector chutes. Then substitute the markings for “PC+UC.”
Hope this helps !
Thanks, Pix. Wasn’t there a problem with fires caused by fuel leaking out of the engine-plus the visibility on landing issue?
Anyway-thanks for the info-I think I’ll try that conversion (my first).
Looking forward to your next build.
